I just dropped my S4 the other day and the screen shattered. From what I read to replace the gorilla glass on the Galaxy S4 is a pain in the *** and super costly since the digitizer is glued to the screen.

Anyone know a place around SD that does legit work, wont mess up my phone, and wont cost an arm and a leg?

Same thing happened to my note 2, made it through an entire deployment. But the first week back drops and small *** crack and verizon said the phone was worthless. Took it to a cell phone repair shop said it was going to be 400 to replace it, in the long run i said **** it took the cancling fee and just went with the iphone and spent 398.

you are right and about it being a PIA that's why most shops charge an arm and a leg. By that im assume about $100.

Should be about $80-$100 to fix the glass only. I know a good shop in OC, but not in SD, sorry

Thanks fellas. for the digitizer and glass they want around 200-300...

I found a place that replaces glass only ( for around 100) but the cracks not too bad so I bought car parts instead!

If anyone needs the name of the place let me know! Its in SD

Had my HTC fixed at a shop in mission valley. I forgot the name, but is off of friars across the street from robins brothers
