Sup guys.

Dropped and broke my screen today on my 3GS. Its not cracked in a any way on the glass or anything, but the screen doesn't read anymore. It's just blank white, and sometimes a whole bunch of lines. I'm tryna get it fixed, saw a million different peeps on Craigslist advertising fixes...but I think there sketchy. Any of you guys, know/repaired your iphones and have a reputable spot to get it fixed at?

.....Or should I just go back to apple and say it just stopped working?

I dropped my phone last year, whole screen cracked. Found a guy on Craigslist near Elmhurst Hospital in Queens. 718-355-0618 Good guy, Sent a couple of people there, and no complaints.

 

How much does he charge?

 

You should come around and pick up an HTC Incredible

 

If nothing cracked and it looks physically okay it should be warrantied...just be persistent...

Otherwise, you can just buy the digitizer and replace it yourself!

 

there's a guy down here that has a shop... $75 bucks to fix a cracked screen

 

You can try the fix of the device or go to Apple and pay $199 for a refurbed working phone.

 

UPDATE:

Went to apple store today....:layed major STUPID:: and they replaced the part in my screen free of charge! Happy I got my phone back.

I do have a 2G with a cracked screen that I'm now thinking of restoring now...hmm.

 

Once you have a IPhone.. having anything else is un-civilized!!!

Apple does have good customer service. I just got a brand new 3g from them in Feb cuz my screen had some dead pixels on it and was losing calls even after 3 sim cards.

Works out cuz my contract is up soon and a virtually brand new 3g will be on the market in due time lol.
