Hello, Intro and wanted post.
Hello, my name is Ray,
My roots came from the American Muscle which I got from my father... However back in 2006 I got myself into the VW scene and kind of gotten a bit known in that scene being sponsored by Suspension Source, Miro and ESM Wheels.
I currently own a 1993 VW Corrado SLC Turbo but i'm throwing that into storage once I get my UCF20 in the next month or so. Just so hard finding the right one ya know? (Full Story here at VSC)
That leads me to this post on craigslist I just posted less than an hour ago (click Here). I been looking for a 2LS/2.5LS for the past 4 months with no luck and i'm starting to give up. I have school starting back up at the end of the month, so I REALLY need to get to finding a gem out there as I have no car... For those a bit lazy (like me, as I have been copy and pasting this post from VSC lol). Here's the info for a car i'm looking for.
Maybe i'm just not forking out enough cash for a top dollar example? I've considered a couple cars in the mid 8K range and didn't agree with the cars at that price.
Does anyone know of a LS out there not found on Craigslist, Autotrader, Cars, KBB and recycler?

I'm looking to purchase a UCF20/UCF21 Lexus LS400 for around the $6000 range (Possibly higher, contact me if you have something worth it)
Requirements:
- Clean title and current smog
- Carfax/Autocheck available.
- Timing Belt, waterpump and other major maintenance repairs done within 20,000 miles. MUST HAVE RECEIPTS.
- No more than 130,000 on the odometer, preferably under 100K
- Interior and Exterior is no less than near mint, don't mind a bit of normal wear, but no abuse.
I'm generally looking for a mint 1998-2000 LS400 and will offer a bit higher pricing for such. However I am open to 1995-1997, '97 Coach Edition is a plus.

Welcome to ClubLexus!
Your budget is on the low end for a clean '98-00 LS with that mileage and maint. records.
it's on spot for a clean '95-97 LS though. come visit the LS forum (and read the stickies/search before asking questions lol) and say hi
also, UCF20 and UCF21 represent the '95-00 LS400 chassis, not the submodels. the x1 designation is for factory air suspension cars (ie- you can have a '98 UCF20, which most are since AS was a rare option after '97). '95-97 is a Pre-MC (minor change) UCF20/21, '98-00 is a Post-MC UCF20/21. Early/late, and Zenki/Kouki are also accurate terms.

Welcome to CL!
I too came from the VW scene. Had 3 corrados in the past. a 90 g60, a 92 slc, and a 95 vr6. They are all gone now, since I moved to Lexus. But alas, I am selling my 01 GS430 also. Family first.....sigh. If you happen to be interested, I have it posted in the classifieds.
