Default Advice: Cheap parts car transport to Kentucky

Any thoughts appreciated. I'm considering a totalled 95 SC400 hit on the rt side. Nice car before the crash. I'm in central KY, it's in San Diego. I'm listed on uship but the lowest bid is $960. I need about $1000 in parts now and a parts car is a great option as I have acres of storage here. The car is also the same color and year as mine with half the miles. Basically perfect except it's in San Diego! Not many sc400s in KY compared to CA. Do I eat the 960 shipping, wait for a less perfect parts car or are there other options Im not seeing?

Don't think he can since it was considered totalled.

It looks Like the top of the rt rear wheel is leaning inward. There could be bent suspension parts or structure or I would consider driving it if legal. I'll just have to bid lower to cover the transport. Its not looking good I fear. Maybe I'm being to cheap but I had wanted to keep the total under $1500. Thanks!

$960 shipping isn't bad considering your talking about a 2,000+ mile trip and someone's time to pick up the car, transport it there, etc. Assuming they are covering any liability too, and its a reputable company, i'd probably pay that price to get the car to KY if you really cant find anything around you.
