Default Orange County - help disabling DRL (IS 08+)

I have an 08 ISF and am looking to just unplug/disable the DRL lights. I was going to buy the newer LED lights to swap in but decided against it based on cost (and a baby on the way!).

I've seen/read how to get to the DRL bulbs but am still struggling with it. If anyone has done so before and can lend a hand I would love to meetup and take care of it. Round(s!) of drinks on me afterwards (or during if you can come to my place in Anaheim Hills 92808 or near work in Irvine 92618).

I'm just looking to kill the DRL light so unplugging the bulb and/or the fuse is equally fine as long as everything else still works.

You could stop by at dealer and ask them to turn it off for you under lighting control system. If you choose unplug it, your high beam not gonna work any more. If you choose the unplug way, i could help you out.

Buy something like this, DIY is cheaper then going to dealer. I paid $35 to turn off then again to turn back on.

Thanks guys. I've been reading up on those cables and will likely go that route. Thanks for the info, link, and tips!

can you use the cables to enable the 2011 LED strip to be 100% brightness as oppose to 50%? Or am I going to have to have someone rewire them for me?

Not sure since I have an '08 with no LED DRLs, I'd have to hook up to the car first and check
