About post #5, I believe I had the same problem but I realized it's due to my caster bushings being very worn. If they're worn, your caster will change right when you take it off the alignment rack.
I guess it's a hit or miss to find someone who knows exactly what they're doing. Just be sure to tell them any concerns with your car. I always tell them to not fiddle with my HIDs. I figure since it's lifetime, you can always get it fixed without paying again.

I have gotten my car aligned 2x so far at Firestone and both times, I was there to watch from beginning to end to see what they're doing. And since it's lifetime, like someone mentioned, if it's not right, you just take it right back and insist that they get it right.

GoodYear Scher tire in Stanton (near Cypress) also do lifetime alignment for $169. Both my cars are lowered and the technician reviews the spec with you personally before handing you the key. They drive lowered car themselves so they're familiar with optimum specs.
Ask for Tony, the store manager. I just got mine done earlier this week.

Anyways my first visit to Firestone wasnt that great (4/27/08). I am not sure if the tech put the tool to keep the steering wheel straight while he did the alignment or not because my steering wheel is aiming to the right, by a noticeable amount (the tech was quite old).
My friend dropped by (a 5 finger low Prelude) to see if they can handle his car but the guy who helped me with my paperwork told him that he should come back tomorrow and wait for 'Javier' and stated that he only trust 'Javier' with any lowered cars... When I heard this I was , so whos doing my car?! So today (4/28/08) I am going back and let Javier fix it.
