Discount Tires in El Monte are crooks to me. Many of my friends got stuff done there and never went back.

I got a quote for my Toyo's T1-S from them and they wanted over 1200 for tires and $25 per Wheels to install.

I then went to a place my friend suggested. And got the same tires for 1060 installed and balanced

Took really good care of my brand new rims to make sure nothing gets scratched.
Unlike some shops who just throw your rims on the mounting machine and closes their eyes trying to secure the rims on the machine

I've sent a couple typical commute drivers there and they have been pleased with the prices and service. As with any tire shop...I'd inquire about the person mounting the tire and how they handle nice wheels. I gave little thought to taking pop's Saturn there because he's curbed his wheels enough that any additional cosmetic damage isn't going to be noticed.
