I live near "The Block @ Orange" and I use to take the 55 to go to school down at Costa Mesa around 11:00am for last semester and those were good times cus no traffic... But now I start school at 8:00am and the 55 Sucks so bad. So now i usually take Fairview or Harbor. I know for a fact that Once I get on the 55N from FAIR it goes fast but once you reach Mc Aruther and where the 405 Merges in, thas were it all starts and traffic is so bad.
I wish they could extend alll the freeways and provide like FastTrak on these freeway or somthing. I'll be willing to pay for it. But hey, for those who have Fast Trak or watever, is it really good? There's no fast trak in OC well, i know there is Fasktrak in riverside on the 91.

i still would totally choose OC traffice over LA traffic. People on the LA traffic have no brains, can't drive and have a bad attitude from what i have observed. with OC, we have nice people (from what i observed), nice cleaner roads and short cuts. 
i love OC and i refuse to go to Ktown because Cerritos and Garden Grove are around here

91 is the worst in my opinion. Took me 3 hours to get to work last Weds (this was taking the 91 Express Lanes on top of that, imagine if I didn't take Fastrak, it would have been worse!) from the Inland Empire to Costa Mesa, due to the heavy rain, traffic, flooding and closed or blocked off offramps. Plus you have the get away traffic on the weekends from OC/southern LA county to Vegas. Talk about a mess.

hehe 91 is pretty bad...that's why i take some local streets on some bad parts of the freeway. i haven't thought of fastrak, but i usually leave early or leave later to avoid any type of traffic. ie. going to work out, mall, eat, meet friends, etc.
