Yes. I just went through the hassle of having New Years Metal Finishing ruin my expensive lips. They will destroy anything you bring them and will cost more in the long run just to fix their problems.
After the mess I took the very damaged and rough 7inch lips to M&M wheel repair in anaheim. They came out amazing! Complete MIRROR polish. Ask for carlos. He has rebuilt and refinished my 18x12 ccws, 19x11.5 hre, 19x10 racinghart, and 19x11.5 -36 Leon Hardiritt. Top notch work for the lowest price you'll find!

Wheel repair shop
Hey fellas, so I'm looking for a rim repair shop in SoCal. My friend is leaving the country and wanted his wheels fixed while he was gone. Some of the wheels have rashes and 1 has a dent that isn't leaking any air. Any suggestions? He would love to have me go to a high quality shop.

I also visited Son in Westminster and he started to repair my wheels (couldn't color match on the spot because my yellow is so bright), but I haven't been able to get time on his schedule to finish the job He's a very busy guy. He offered to come out to my area (south bay) to finish the job, but that was well over two months ago. I kind of gave up trying to work into his schedule at this point.
Does anybody know if there's a shop who could finish repairing my wheels? The curb rash itself is gone, as Son has gotten rid of all the roughness and now they only need the paint to be touched up.
Any suggestions??
Thanks so much!
This is what the wheel used to look like.
This is how it currently looks. All smooth, only needs paint touch up.

VR is not bad, but just like wheel flip they take long due to high customer volume (and for good reason)!

just wanted to add to this thread. i went to son tran of onsite wheels for repair of some curbed rays 57xtreme wheels, after so many great reviews i've read on multiple boards.

he does mobile calls, with the tires still on the car, but i opted to give him the wheels/tires loose and dropped them off at his shop. he was working on a brand new audi Q5 when i arrived, and an IS250C when i picked up. due to his scheduling, he did take a week to finish all four wheels which all had minor curbs. i didn't mind as i was in no rush at all. usually he can finish within hours, but he informed me it's good i gave it to him for an extended period to ensure the paint cures properly.
he was able to repair and color match perfectly. the color is a matte grey bronze WITH texture, and he was able to nail it all including the funky edge design of the wheel. he can do bronze as well for those wondering. i highly recommend his services!
no before shots unfortunately!
