Independent Lexus Mechanic/Shops?
Does anyone know of anyone in or around the Chicagoland area? I am losing confidence in some of the dealers around the area. It would be nice to see a mechanic that does work on the side or even a shop that specializes in Toyotas/Lexus.
Has anyone taken their car to Sound Performance for other than performance modifications? More along the lines of maintance work?

Hey Ahad. SP does good work. On stuff they know. Like Supras and Zs. You can try them out though. They do everything for Supras, but not sure how knowledgable they are on Lexus's other than the IS...call them up at 630-893-5002..talk to Gary

I Plan on using them...
I've heard great things about S P. It's like having our own Toyomoto (Miami). It's 90 bucks an hour for service, not far from dealership prices, but 70/hr when you use their parts.
I've used a local shop in China Town trying to save money but had 2 bad experiences. They know Hondas not Lexus'.
