Wheels America moved to elkgrove village off busse highway. Went there today to have a bent wheel fixed.
And yes some fine grit paper will smooth out the rash if it isn't too deep. Won't be too noticable. This would be a good idea to do first because they will have to shave off layers of metal to fix a rashed wheel. No going back after that.

Found this guy on Craigslist if anyone has any good or bad experience on him.
Never been there myself so don't know yet.

Oak Lawn, IL
Ph# 312-479-4054
He said he'll charge $75 per wheel for 16" wheel / rim.
Will take him 3 days on average
He said he does the same thing that Wheels America does except cheaper.
Not sure about the quality though.
It's about 35 miles away from my home so trying to find somewhere closer.
Anyone deal with this guy recently?

Hmmm - I rashed my wheel this winter too. Of course they're chrome OEM wheels (not aftermarked replicas) and I know they'd have to be re-chromed after repair... dang it.
The chrome looks like crap (former owner didn't keep them up) - wondering if these wheel places could blast them and repaint or something. The look of chrome is nice, but I don't want to pay the $$ to have them redone.

[B]I used this guy to paint a car and he ruined it. The paint was worse than when I brought it in. He will say he can do anything but he is a hack . Dont use this guy.
