How about I try for July 11 or 12 (actually we can go anytime if the tracks are open for reservation)? 6 racers is a good # and btw, you are free to invite any others that might want to race too, just need to have a kart reserved for them. I can handle that if you have them on this list.

i've had that experience many times, here's video...this guy was very light and had a good kart in the straights. its a good challenge to try and initiate a clean pass. i swear there were times that he would purposefully change his racing line just to block me and make contact. or when he spins he collects me in his spin.
anyways - at the 2 minute mark i shook my head and just focused on overcoming his straightaway speed advantage and make a clean a pass as possible under braking and a faster line.

i think my racecraft has improved from CIR racing.

lol! awesome.

The way I view it is lightness is like height in basketball. You don't see the short guys complaining.

Is that what your big a$$ is going to do? I'll stave myself like five days before the day and show up in my birthday suit.... or at least speedos (my sandals).

I'll eat a lot of onions instead of installing turbos. That should provide enough thrust ... or atleast get everyone to quiet the race.

I am open guys, I proposed July 11(Friday) or 12th(Saturday) but really, I can go most anytime with maybe just a few days notice.

I will handle calling into CIR the morning of the prospective race day and reserve our race slots. (Remember that CIR has a policy that you reserve the day of the race, unfortunately we are not allowed to do this days ahead. Therefore I won't know until that morning if they have the racetracks available for us to reserve. I'll post the race times for that night on this thread - they usually will be starting at 8PM)

If you guys really want to go soon, we can aim for this coming June 26 Thursday night. I have high confidence that they will have the racetracks will be available that night and our chances are good we can race later this week. Just an idea I thought I throw out there.

Since Chris has raced there before he won't have to go through the registration process and he is not required to watch the 7 minute safety video. Newcomers will have to go through this process and they should arrive an extra 40 minutes before the first race times.
