So Phil, are the bikers involving the police? I'd hazard a guess they might be reluctant because they don't want cops staking out their regular mountain road routes where they want to have some open throttle fun.

Bikes make a lot of noise, especially the big unmuffled ones. And there are usually no laws that they have to be muffled, which is why most Harley guys pull them off when new...though sometimes local noise-ordainces are in effect. Anyhow, this might (?) be the work of some person or group who either has very sensitive ears, or, for some reason, is just sick of bike-noise. I'm not condoning those actions, of course.....just suggesting it as a possible motive.

I believe the police are involved and investigating. Bikers would rather enjoy the road rather than be exiled from it.

But to apprehend a handful of suspects in hundreds, if not thousands, of miles of SoCal roads, will be near impossible.

Pretty sure the people living near by don't appreciate the a-holes using public roads as their race tracks. Those bikers that are complaining/made the videos are the ones causing the radicals to dump oil and spike the roads.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

So manslaughter is akin to making noise and having fun.

What a lesson, thanks.

It might very well be possible that they spoke to a biker or 2 and they flipped them of? Wouldn't be the first time bikers didn't give a damn.
