The transmission gearing in the Sedona is VERY lazy. You have to really hammer it to get it to kick down.

All in all, very impressed with the Pacifica. Didn't think I would be, but it has that solidness and that refinement that my Jeeps had, and that same feel where when you drive other stuff in the segment they just don't feel as nice. It feels more expensive than it is, also like the Jeep.
Very good. I'm excited to see a comparison test of the Pacifica, Sedona, Odyssey, and Sienna. No one cares about the Quest anymore.. not even Nissan

The programming of the 9-speed in the Pacifica seems to be the best to date that I've sampled (including the Honda Pilot).

Definitely a wholly competitive entrant in the segment and structure is much more solid than the outgoing models which were somewhat compromised by the addition of stow and go. This new structure was developed with stow n go in mind from the foundation and is much better for it.

I think this will do well for Chrysler.

Doesn't your Sedona have a manual +/- bump-shift on the lever (or paddles) to get around that problem?

Yeah but I don't want go use them. I just want it to shift on its own.
