Vossen's are quite expensive now, even used And I was so close to winning the free set of wheels on here. Sounds like most guys I know. Just throw cash at the first thing they see when there are many options that are same if not better quality at half the cost.

usually they sell the mods within a few years. Maybe he can sell it for just a little loss.

So it's kind of like a lease....... all money down the toilet anyway

One possible problem would be if the lease contract doesn't allow mods. I'm surprised no one has brought that up so far.

hell...since its a leased car...why even wash it???
Do you enjoy driving a dirty car? I don't.

I think there are some rather large logic flaws here and assumptions being made. Just because someone leases a vehicle, that doesn't mean they don't have the financial means to purchase it outright. People lease for numerous reasons other than not being able to afford to purchase. So like leasing a vehicle, making the choice to mod a leased car is purely individual. Besides, most people don't own cars they purchase for more than a few years so what's the difference?

Also, as some mentioned, aftermarket parts are removable and you can return the vehicle back to stock before turning it in so it's not like you're giving away the $2,600 wheels you bought for the car.

I've never leased a car myself, but I would have no issues modding one. Paying for something like clear bra though, on a car I knew I would not own after the lease, I would NOT do.

You guys all made good points but I just don't see a point in putting that much money into a car only to have to take everything thing off.
