Agreed, that art decoish thing they're doing just looks awkward now. The straight vertical lines at the rear look stodgy, like a more sophisticated 300C, and that's not a compliment. Cadillac interiors are also a mess of sharp lines and mismatched materials. They need better looking cars - no amount of Twitter PR spiel or German-baiting dynamic performance can overcome the current ugly looks.

If you want to see some seriously awkward design, Google up XTS-L. It's the extended wheelbase version of the XTS by Shanghai GM with a rear overhang the size of a Prius. With products like that, Cadillac needs more than just chest-beating PR on Twitter, especially when the Lexus ES and Ford Mondeo can make long wheelbase FWD sedans look good.

Yes, getting old ("styling" which I did mention) plus below average reliability and mediocre resale value are also Caddy brand traits too.
Notes:
Btw Caddy is suffering a sales decline while the lux market is booming/growing, GM might find that to be getting old too...
