This is just a 4-doors RC-F, so MSRP of RC-F + 2 rear doors and a little more sheet metel.......+$5k~$10k.

I like it, but the wheels are ugly....simple is better sometimes

hopefully Vossen will throw some TASTEFUL dark grey or black 19s or 20s on it.

Many people think the S of the Audi = M and AMG, is all a big confusion and does it really matter?

Now the F = S.............maybe there will be a FS.........lol

So we can say RC F is more of a M6 competitor than M4 competitor now ?

It was smart marketing for Audi, I have always said that.

Maybe Lexus has another level planned, lets hope....

As a value play it makes sense, maybe they see a gap in the market.

But what does an S6 run these days with AWD? $80's?

No.

RS5 is the most direct RC-F competitor.

RS7 is the closest M6 competitor.

They are all a little different, none of them are exactly equal IMO.

Audi aren't smart, people are just dumb.

How can you not see a S4 is not a M3?

not sure about most. ppl who know cars know S is not amg and m, that's what RS is about

and for the other who don't know / care, they don't even care about A or S

The majority of people who buy a S in the USA don't know RS exist and really don't know or care.

People who know cars is a very small group of people, most buyers are just the general public, they buy a S because they want a sporty Audi and can afford the price, it doesn't mean they know cars like we do.

we all know that when comparo are done between s6 and m5 and e63 (and yup ppl don't need to remind me that s6 won)

doesn't make that a better case for lexus imho

like i said, good effort by lexus and great to expand f. but the car itself? i am not very impressed so far especially i know more than likely it won't be faster / better than rcf

it's ok, i know your point that we should be glad that lexus is doing it, but i have higher bars for lexus, to me this is like excuses to justify their decisions. it's good that they are doing it but i don't see why i should be glad about it

Underwhelmed , but still looks decent and will drive well. I still don't understand why they can't throw more resources at these projects, biggest car company in the world for god's sake. They didn't even bother to update the remote touch either lol.

I will just guess you never shopped for cars in this price range, while a lot of 35k A4 buyers take whatever is on the lot for a $399 lease I am not convinced people buying an S6 or GS-F are completely buying blind. The higher the cost, often the picker the people as luxury is getting what you want and while some people don't care or may be lazy, they are not stupid, I guess only a handful are as smart as you

I see pretty well as the S4 is a sedan and the M3 is a coupe . If you want to compare the S\RS5 go ahead, just start another thread.

Errr thinking of the old M3
