Default Lexus NX details/pricing now available on the Lexus web-site

For those of you interested in the NX, Lexus has finally released the official specs, features, interior/exterior photo-gallery, paint colors, trim-models available, base-pricing, etc....on the official web-site (up to now, it was not available on the site just for casual browsing...you had to sign up for it). Of course, some of this data has been with the auto press for months, but this probably makes it official.

As I write this, though, the build-your-own feature for the NX still doesn't seem to be available, though it looks like it is going to be inserted soon into the blank area on the build-it Lexus site for SUVs, between the LX and RC.

I plan to review an NX, of course.

Here in the local D.C. area, though, dealerships aren't actually expecting any deliveries until early December. (yes, during the Christmas-season rush, when most people are holiday-shopping and buying everything EXCEPT new vehicles).

We've just delivered 3 NX's as early as Wednesday. All the ones that have come in have been sold so I have not given a review yet. I drove both turbo and hybrid at a drive event last week but want to wait until I get more one on one time with the car

Thanks...by all means, give us your take on it. In most cases, you can check out the interior, underhood, cargo area, etc......even on pre-sold models. It's usually just the test-drive that is out of the question on one already sold...particularly if it hasn't been PDI'd yet.

Not surprising, BTW, that CA and the West Coast gets them before we do...that is often the case with all-new vehicles.

For luxury vehicles, December is typically the largest single month of sales for the calendar year, so yes, people are buying everything INCLUDING new vehicles.

it's overpriced a bit. it's almost neck and neck with RX prices. i wish NX prices are $2000 lower all cross the board.

I have to agree with you there. I was pretty sure it's going to be my next vehicle but as soon as the price was released, I was turned off. I was particularly interested in the NX300h, but it's low on power, and fuel economy is nothing to rave about. The RX450h is a better deal, but the next generation is coming out relatively soon. I'd be much happier if the NX300h started at $37k.

on the website it says the turning circle is 18.7ft. somehow i don't think that's right.

it also says cargo room in back (with rear seats up) is 17.7cu ft, which is tiny. for comparison, the rx (which really isn't much heavier and has barely any more leg room front/back) has 40cu ft of cargo room (with rear seats up).

For some reason Lexus is stating cargo room with the tonneau cover installed. It really makes no sense considering none of their competitors are measuring it that way
