And what is so wrong with that? I still consider Lexus a high end Toyota. Lexus has Toyota DNA in everything they do.
Nothing wrong with that at all my point is that just because it's a Toyota product they wouldn't get it regardless if it was the best car in the world their issue is it's a Toyota product. To each their own.
but does the g90 carry enough panache given the industry you work in?
now there's a word i hate... "panache"...

hyundai/kia does not have a 'terrible reputation' today. given how competitive the market is, they would not be selling probably over a million vehicles a year in u.s.

they 'grey poupon' set is not likely to buy a genesis any time soon. even the wonderful LS hasn't an easy time of it among today's s-class, 7 series, tesla, etc. but hopefully this new one will change that.

there will always be those who 'have' to have the 'established' badge that says they've arrived, whether it's the best vehicle or not. basically they're posers.

All good. I can see how some won't buy it based on your explanation.
Are we sure about the powertrain in the Hybrid? Are we just assuming the LC and LS hybrids get the 354HP hybrid setup from GS450h? A hybrid setup on the twin-turbo engine from the LS500 should be really good.
