Just bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland
Like the title says, just pulled the trigger on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland to replace our 2011 Jeep.
So far VERY impressed with it. Tech package with radar cruise, air suspension, nappa leather, real wood, HIDs, great infotainment system (really great), leather dash and door panels...MSRP $49,200...bought it for just over $40k...to me this is an incredible vehicle for just over $40k...to put it in perspective...this is not even a Highlander Limited price wise.
Hopefully reliability will be okay. My old one had its issues...
Don't have any pictures yet, but here are a couple borrowed ones of the color combo. I intend to take some pics of ours tomorrow:

Congratulations. Today's JGC is light-years ahead of its predecessor in terms of refinement, ride/handling, interior, fit/finish, and drivetrain smoothness/flexibility than its predecessor-generation. But, of course, you have probably already found that out for yourself on the test-drive. The only possible fly in the ointment, right now, could be long-term reliability, which, according to Consumer Reports, is still below average even with all of the other improvements.
Today's new engines, BTW, don't need as extensive a break-in as in the past, but it is still a good idea, for the first few hundred miles, to take it easy on them, take it easy on the brakes except in an emergency or to avoid an accident, and no towing.
(And, of course, now is the time to get a bottle of SCRATCH-OUT, to keep that nice brand-new paint looking new)

This is a special group buy arranged by members of JeepGarage.com. They've sold over 150 Jeeps over the past 1.5 years they've been doing it and the deal is awesome, plus any applicable incentives go on top of it.
We should think about trying to do something like that here. People have flown in from all over the country to buy their Jeeps at this dealer in Northern VA. Its honestly the best deal in the country on a Jeep.
No 9 speed, thats only in the Cherokee. This has an 8 speed which is a huge improvement over the 5 speed that was in our 2011 GC.

I work for a Jeep Dealership so if you have any questons and would like the honest answer, Im your guy.
When the JGC first came out for MY14, They were all nightmares, tons of electricial issues and air suspension issues. The diesel versions are even worse. Cannot ever get parts for them when the componets for the diesel engine screwed up.
Most of the bugs are out of them but make sure u have all updates performed because I can promise you that there are atlease 5 unless the dealership performed then before the sale
