Still, if you want the full neo–Lexus LS400 rolling-bank-vault experience, get the V-8.

The angles are not that great but I wouldn't say the wheels horrible. CVT's are actually one of our best seller's and have won an award for the best wheel in 2014. We have seen them on everything from an Acura ILX to a Rolls Royce Phantom. We are proud of this design and happy offer something many customers love.
I am sure once the Genesis gets lowered and some decent pics were taken, it will show it's true beauty.

Yeah I agree, its not the wheels so much as the wheels on that particular application.

As one of Hyundai's latest arrivals, the new Genesis will be prominently represented at the SEMA Show, with the Koreans announcing their second tune today after the 550hp Ark Performance study.
Made in cooperation with Chicago-based design and customization firm Toka Marketing Group, the Steel Phoenix Genesis takes the stock 5.0-liter V8 and tacks on a Garrett twin turbo system complete with a full ARK Performance catback exhaust system, boosting output to 600hp.
The sedan also gets an AirRex digital air suspension system and sits lower to the ground on high performance Toyo rubber, shod in custom 21-inch COR 3-piece wheels, behind which you'll find a custom 8-piston front and 6-piston rear brake set up from Neo Motorsport.
To make it look the part, Toca fabricated an all-metal wide body design with matte and gloss black accents, with the body finished in steel metal paintwork. On the inside, the SEMA Genesis is said feature custom black leather seats with contrasting white stitching, carbon-fiber trims and a Rockford Fosgate sound system.

Just picked up 15 Genesis 3.8 AWD Ultimate, MSRP $52,800 for a family member.
I still have 14 GS AWD Luxury, MSRP $60,800.
How good is Genesis, I am going to let that family member drive my GS and I will drive Genesis.
Headsup display showing blind spot, lane keeping info, as well as nav, dynamic cruise info. While on a highway, it feels like I am surrounded by tech de force. Power pick up is nice, not as good as GS but GS is not that great either anyway. Quietness and vault like feeling, GS falls short. Handling, GS wins. Ride smoothness, almost tie but Genesis wins even with GS's adjustable damping. Audio, Genesis wins. Navigation and its interface, Genesis wins. Comfort access on all 4 doors, GS wins. 3 zone climate control with rear audio control, GS wins. Fit quality, I want to say GS wins but GS had wind noise from day one and rattling within a week which I still deal with. Genesis, vault quiet.
Will have to drive Genesis more for long term comparison, but initial impression, Genesis has done a remarkable job this time around. Just as GS got praise from media with 13 model, Genesis deserves every bit of praise it got in my opinion.

P.S.
Anyways, there is a Genesis Sedan with 5.0 liter engine with HTRAC ALL WHEEL DRIVE
Unfortunately, the only market where the 5.0 HTRAC AWD is sold is Canada
