Default oil change? o.o

hey, sorry this isnt a lexus related question, but im kinda stumped here.

Does anyone know any shops around the Northern Virginia area that would do an oil change on a 2013 bentley continental gt? I got turned down by about 4 shops so far. Of course the obvious answer would be to go to a dealership, but the closest bentley dealership is the one where the car was picked up, and thats a two and a half hour round trip; plus waiting for the oil change.

If anyone could suggest a shop, thatd be greatly appreciated. If not I guess ill have to make a drive.
Thanks!
-James

First world problems. Why dont you pick up a wrench and do it yourself, richboy.

totally uncalled for. If the guy owns a bentley there's a good chance the OP makes more in that half hour at his job than the cost of an oil change.

I would suggest calling a VW/BMW dealership since bentleys are owned by VW. There's a small chance they would know how to do it, similar to how toyota can do Lexus oil changes.

Great advice

A Bentley Continental GT under the skin uses the same engine, trans, awd system, etc as a VW Phaeton equipped with a W12 engine. The W12 Phaeton is called a poor man's Bentley. Depreciation on a Phaeton is so brutal you can pick up a NICE one for about $20,000

Im just messing with the guy, if he has a Bently, good for him. If hes smart enough to make enough money to afford a Bentley then he should be smart enough to Bing/ Google/ call around for his oil change. Just saying...

With so few dealerships, I would think that Bentley would have some way to take care of their owners who aren't near a dealership even to the point of picking up the car or locating a local shop.

Have you or your uncle talked to the dealership or Customer Service?

13 liters of oil lol. Pretty much like any other oil change. Have you changed oil yourself before? Having ramps helps a lot and makes it easier. Since your uncle is lazy I would use synthetic oil if it doesnt already so you can extend your oil change intervals.

i mean i could get the oil change done for free at the dealership; they wouldnt even charge me for the oil. but its still a long drive. to be honest id rather not try and do it myself JUST in case. better safe than sorry =/

Have you tried Euro Motorcars in Bethesda, MD? They are just a couple of minutes from NoVA, across the American Legion Bridge, off the Beltway....though the Beltway can be impossible during rush hour (I'd go on a weekend or during the middle of the day).

(I did an E-class review, BTW, out of their Mercedes shop)

Agreed.....we don't need comments like that here on CAR CHAT. Besides, on many of today's complex luxury cars (as I often note in my auto-reviews), it can be very difficult for non-technicians, without ASE or factory-training, to do even simple things like oil-changes.

Use Amsoil Signature. Then you won't need to change it for 25,000 miles. Solves future problems for a while.
