Default Buying parts for a car during generation change? (Toyota Camry)

Anyone have a Toyota Camry XV40 (2006) and can help me figure out if the 2007 has the same exact part numbers?

For my UCF20 LS, I generally order parts for a 1996 as I have a 1997, right before the facelifted model.

I'm trying to order brake rotors and pads for a 2006 XV40 and when searching for parts, the part numbers are completely different to the 2007, I am not sure if it would be safer to just order the 07 brake parts or the 06 as a 06 can either be a XV30 or XV40...

Anyone? I don't want to make an account on a general Toyota forum just to ask this... I figure there are quite a few Lexus owners who have had a Toyota in the past or still do...

2006 Camrys are XXV30's They cannot be XXV40's.
2006's cannot be either/or.
2007's are XXV40's.
2006 and 2007 are two completely different cars. Generally, they share zero parts other that perhaps some bolts and clips.
Order the correct parts for your car.

This.
Even same generation cars can have different part numbers. Always best to just get the part numbers for your exact vehicle.

Not ordering the same part number, even if the car is the same generation, can sometimes screw you big time. The Cressida I had, for example, was an '84, the last year of that body style and I once had to get a trim piece for the windshield moulding and found one off an '81, which was the same generation. That part didn't fit and had been changed between '81 & '84.
