Not surprised by the name change from the speculated "CX". There was no way CX would fly with Mazda that already has the CX-5. After hearing the 2017 expectation date, I'm surprised to see things moving along faster with a trademark filing.
Interesting, so that vehicle is due within the 6-30 months for sure then, as all Lexus trademarks have been filed within that time frame. The GS460 trademark was filed as early as November 2004 and that barely got introduced in 2007. The IS200 was an all-new model in March 1999 and got filed in November '97, so I'm guessing a similar pattern for the NX with an early 2014 on sale date.
