Koenigsegg Agera RS shows new rear wing in latest teaser
Debuts March 3
Koenigsegg has published a second teaser image for the Geneva-bound Agera RS.
This latest teaser depicts a design sketch of the rear end which will boast a slightly different rear wing compared to the Agera R along with a few other aerodynamic tweaks. Koenigsegg says the Agera RS will benefit from some of the technologies implemented in the One:1 while keeping the same features as the Agera S and R versions like the detachable & stowable hardtop, a rear window and the luggage compartment.
Chances are the Agera RS has lost some weight compared to the 1,330 kg Agera R while output of the twin-turbo V8 5.0-liter has probably increased from 1,099 bhp (820 kW) and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft). Expect the performance levels to be even more impressive than the Agera R's which sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds and needs 7.5 seconds to hit 124 mph (200 km/h) from a standstill before topping out at more than 245 mph (390 km/h).
We will have all the details on March 3 when the Koenigsegg Agera RS will debut in Geneva.
