Saw the Opel Ampera plugged in at an outlet in front of Frankfurt train station in Germany. Awfully modern looking in a hip sort of way like the VW Bug when it first drove through Berlin in 1938 ( I was not there, not that old, just judging from the expression on peoples faces in the photo). Nothing beats the sound of a real American V8 though. Germans told me you can have that Opel with a V8 soundtrack. Well..............er, no, yes, maybe.... (Told them it's not 100% electric as it is actually a Chevy Volt, but then they sort of lost interest in the conversation)
