QUESTION: IS THIS THE 5LS OR A REFRESHED 4LS ??? I am confused. What I gather is that it is the 5LS but looks more like an extensive refresh of the 4LS

In my book, a new styling change is a new generation. I do understand what you're getting at. I stopped counting and dividing the models a long time ago. Seems all the brands do so much model sharing the lines have become to vague to stick to generational divides.
I like how BMW and Porsche use numerical designations to seperate the models even if there are parts being shared from one model year to the next. The number assignment simply identify the current car.

I agree that I like the black button too because the touch buttons always make me do a double take because I am not sure if I activated it. However, to be consistent with the rest of the lineup they should have made the switch
