Every now and again there are some interesting cars parked in the office lot. I'm not talking new MB CLS550's. I'm talking about interesting cars. Saw this one this morning -
We have 2 people (working on the same team) and they park like that EVERY-FREAKING-DAY. It gives me an eyesore everytime I see that.
While I do not likefolks parking like that I will give this guy a pass since it isnt everday he brings this in. Now the idiot with the VW CC and the other guy with the Civic Si I would like to gove a good thumping. Luckily the lot is huge and there arent any issues for spaces and they park as far away from the doors as possible
During the Summer I spy a Corvair on occassion and another guy has an old 911 that looks all original. And I mean old 911 - window seals are cracking, paint looks smooth (contains lead ), etc
Back at my high school every once in a while there would be a 1970's porsche 914, red one that was real clean and whenever ever it wasn't raining or when it wasn't winter, some kid would drive a 1969 pontiac lemans. I loved that 914
Volvo's P1800 was developed in 1957-58 and sold from 1961 to 1973 with surprisingly few cosmetic changes, but did receive a badly-needed power upgrade from 115 to 130 hp in 1970. It suffered from a relatively high price for its modest level of performance, exacerbated by being both underpowered and over weight for a "sports car". In the American market where you could buy a "real" British or Italian sports car for considerably less, the Volvo's limited appeal was primarily to its brand fans.
