yeah, and they better color matched it now to the plastic on the vents... also larger LCD screen now in the center stack, takes up all the space in the middle now.
i dont think it would be easy to find nicer interior than LX for the price... combination of semi-aniline leather, wood trip and brushed aluminium takes up most of the interior.

Love the update !
The exterior looks much better to me now. I really like the updated front end. Importantly it makes the LX look distinct from the Toyota LC, and at the same time gives closer family styling ties to the CT, GS, and upcoming Lexus models. Interior looks great as always.
Mr. Burns, sorry but the chop you posted looks more bland and more generic, and makes the LX look more like a Toyota. Also you don't seem to understand that the way the "fangs" extend down is done ON PURPOSE by the designers. It gives more styling excitement to the LX, and at the same time shows how the Lexus spindle grille is evolving. You can clearly tell by the teaser shots of some of the future Lexus models. You can see an evolution of the spindle grille as you look at the different models in the teaser shot. What Lexus is doing is smart. Instead of putting into production straight-away the "gaping" grille of the LF-Gh or LF-LC concept, they are slowly evolving the spindle grille model-by-model where it will look more and more daring with each model debut. That way it will attract new customers without alienating too many current customers.

This refresh doesn't look bad, but as someone who desires Lexus keep away from the "one car, different sizes" of Audi/Benz/BMW it makes me nervous.
I say this because I think Lexus has ALWAYS had good looking vehicles with their own style. All this while having models that don't look like carbon-copied versions of one another.
I think that Lexus design language is strong enough not to need a standard corporate face. I'll always go back to the golden era of Lexus design (circa 1998/1999) which had the LS, original SC, ES, GS, RX, and LX all on a dealer lot with very much a Lexus-vibe, but all very unique at the same time.

Just saw the pics from Autoblog. Wow, I really like the front end and different rear tail lights. I was kind of hoping for something a little different on the inside, but I can live with it. Nice job!
