Interesting that they may name it a 4 series. Does this mean it will be its own unique model and there still will be a regular 3 series coupe or are they completely doing away with the 3 series coupe for the 4 series? A 4 series coupe would be able to stray further from the sedan styling/performance wise and it could even get its own unique interior which would be nice. The regular M3 coupe would change to a M4. I just hope they don't tack on a big premium for the 4 series over the 3 series sedan especially if the 4 series is very similar to or basically a regular 3 series coupe just with a different badge.

If they do name it a 4 series coupe and drop the 3 series coupe than they should just do a 1 series sedan and a 2 series coupe.

horrible overhangs at the corners....and it does resemble a mustang as they mentioned in the originating thread.

It obviously has an enlarged shell under the camouflage in order to hide the shape. It's easy to spot in the headlights and by windshield wipers.

no the 4 series will be more like what audi is doing. With their sedan being called a4 and the coupe being called a5.
