I agree with sir speedflex on this in that it is a quantum leap improvement over the "BUCKTOOTH".
All I have to say right now is: "Honda, now that's how you design a CRV."

huh? it's NOTHING like that x3.
no you dare not. it's hideous.
that's not saying much.
ok, let's count some of its hideous details shall we?
black side rails, front/rear lower trim: hideous
rims: hideous
bizarre d-pillar meets godzilla roofline: hideous
front end might be ok except for the fake rock guard: omg so hideous
black trim around wheel arches: ugh, hideous
summary: hideous

The styling is a big departure from the current generation. I wonder if it might offend some of its loyal buyers. However, considering it is a concept they might tone it down. It is sad that recent Honda designs have all gone backwards: Pilot, Odyssey, refreshed Accord, Civic, etc.

Have an aunt that has the very first gen and loves it to pieces. I do agree that the new styling is a good leap away from the buck tooth model now available, but it is still hideous. Looks like the Cross-turd and a Volvo C-70 got together and banged this one out. It actually IS a good, all around SUV, however it's biggest problem has been the fact that it has always been underpowered. Never followed the lineage, but this thing has ALWAYS begged for a V-6.

Wow, I can't believe Honda finally came out with something that looks decent. I don't know what the "tumor" is referring to since I don't see any rear pics. But regardless, dumping the bucktooth and heat element grille was a no-brainer and seems to finally be leaving the other Honda trucks (2012 Pilot and 2012 Ridgeline Sport).
