This is why I don't just rely on electronics like GPS systems that can and do malfunction for directions and always have a map/mapquest printout with me when I take trips. I hear about GPS units giving bad directions or malfunctioning all the time and people end up getting really lost which is why it is always a good idea to have a map or written directions. Driving straight into a lake because an electronic device told you to is beyond ridiculous though.

So much for spending an extra 2K or more on the way overpriced GPS option for her Mercedes.
