But what type of deal did they give you on the new car you were getting? How much better of a discount would it have been w/o the trade involved? Was that revealed? Likely not. Somewhere, they get you. If they give you more for the trade, the chances are high they won't discount your new car as much as they would have if you didn't have a trade. They are in it to make as much money as possible. And they are very good at hiding where they have more room to bargain. 98% of the time, you do better selling a car privately.
