Canadian pronunciation of Toyota Celica

Yeah, I am fully aware of that... That really has nothing to do with my question though. As far as I am aware those French Canadians speak "Old" French or something like that which is also a little different from how French is spoken in France now.

Where in Vancouver are you? In Vancouver proper, most people pronounce words in the British way with the exception of a few. I've barely heard anybody say "zee" instead of "zed" except people who are here on business. Likewise, never heard "ruff" instead of "roof" or similar. Most stores use British spelling (again, with exceptions like tyre, etc). I hate it when I see a store have American spelling (like "XYZ Center"), as my in brain spell checker keeps telling me its spelt wrong. I'm sure people in the US have the opposite feeling when they come here.

^ There is a pretty big difference between Vancouver proper and the outlying (more suburban) areas for spoken languange.
There are other differences as well but they're not really realted to this thread at all.
As for people in Eastern Canada ... no, I wont, I'll let someone else coment on their dialect.
