CORRECTION: I BOUGHT MINE JUL 2012. Shouldn't really be posting after working so many consecutive night shifts. She's a garage queen, more than 1.5 yrs old but with 5K on the meter. I bought it for my dad but he doesn't want to drive it anymore. So I, sigh, HAVE TO, drive it like twice a month.
Mike, sick car. There are so many after market applications to go with this little rocket. On the subject of only 2000 monogram copies, clearly we've all learned something from jumping the gun too soon (durp), and now we can safely wait for many more versions of them nicely upgraded FR-S

Hey, its on Air Runner suspension…I forgot he's running 19x10 front and rear, so the front is super aggressive.

The aftermarket just loves this car, so many parts for it from mild to wild. It looks better to me than when it first debuted. I pushed hard for these fitments for this car.

i wouldn't worry too much, those sales probably are related to Europe and not rest of the world, no matter what the article says. Plus, all of the article is crap anyway, Toyota and BMW announced year ago that they will be using 2.0 diesel engine as well, so there is nothing new there.
"Toyota’s European R&D boss Gerald Killmann said the GT 86 was behind sales targets in all major markets, meaning the American-market Scion FR-S as well, and that this has created doubts towards developing further variants of the car."
But let's hope you're right, and we finally get a hi-po version...

Who cares that its not selling enough to meet BS sales goals. It has generated so much excitement for the brand and positive reviews that even if they lose money on the cars, its still worth it in the end.
Look at the big picture of making fun cool cars that inspire ppl to buy into the brand as a whole!
