In the third video, was that wistling sound of his intake??? That sounded sweet.

That pic does not show the 4.0L V8. That looks like the 3.0L inline six.

trust me that's the 4.0 v8, it just seems to have a polished intake manifold.. You can tell by the black "squarish" covers next to the intake and the battery, if I'm not wrong, they are plastic covers for the cam gears..

Well that looks nothing like the 4.0L V8 I had in my GS400 which had the intake coming out of the front middle of the engine.

I believe that engine is the pre-vvti V8s

That V8 is a 1UZ-FE from a Gen 1 UCF10 LS400 or Gen 1 UZZ30 SC400. This was the pre-engine cover version.

Strange, the coolant reservoir is located in a different position in the SC400.

It is a 1UZ motor that they put in the Soarer/SC400...........
