Default Look what popped my tire!

I was driving home from work, heard my rear tire go and pulled over. Called for a tow, he got there and as he was putting the car on the flatbed he noticed the wrench in it, the tire place pulled it out (cut it out i should say, i couldn't pull it out ) and we all had a good laugh.

Tow truck driver said it was the weirdest thing he'd seen in a long time. I'd be bummed about it but it's kinda cool to see that in my tire, plus i get a free replacement and tow so i'm not out anything but time. i thought it was funny/weird enough to share it.

Did you have a tech work on your vehicle recently? Maybe it was his wrench. Years ago after having a car serviced, I heard a rattle on the way home. I looked around under the hood and found a Snap On torque wrench along the side of the radiator.

That's weird how the wrench could have been positioned in such a way that
it went through the tire. The flat side should have been on the ground.

I guess you were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Go buy a lotto ticket, maybe your good luck with balance that bad luck out.

My question is did it damage the wheel. Cause any bends in the hub. That's a crazy way to puncture a tire.

maybe a car in front of u ran it over and flipped the wrench up in mid-air and u happen to catch it tail up in mid air and boom.
