Toyota Reintroduces Landrover Muster
Toyota has reintroduced a popular LandCruiser workhorse limited-edition model.
Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series Muster is a Turbo-diesel Cab/Chassis model that combines a tough, sporty image with workhorse practicality.
However, only 350 have been built for sale from May 2006 to January 2007 – or until stocks last.
LandCruiser Muster is based on LandCruiser 79 Series Turbo-diesel Cab/Chassis with five-speed manual transmission.
It has the additional features of 16x7-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with 265/70R16LT Grandtrek All Terrain tyres, front wheel over-fender flares, aluminium side steps and chrome front grille.
Inside, LandCruiser 79 Series Muster has the added feature of a 2-DIN size Fujitsu Ten 3-in-1 audio system which includes radio/cassette and single CD player.
LandCruiser 79 Series Muster has hardwearing vinyl interior trim – Bluish Grey in combination with French Vanilla or Warm Silver Metallic exterior paint, and Oak vinyl interior trim in combination with the Parchment exterior.
LandCruiser 79 Series’ Turbo-diesel engine delivers 122kW of power at 3400rpm and 380Nm of torque at 1400rpm.
Computer control of fuel injection timing and volume ensures maximum idle stability, optimum power and torque, and reduced black smoke emissions.
Toyota will only produce 350 examples of the LandCruiser 79 Series Muster Limited Edition, in a choice of three exterior colours.
All Musters have Toyota’s proven 4.2-litre 24-valve direct-injection Turbo-diesel engine and manual transmission.
