INTRO
I previously owned a 'somewhat' modified 2006 lexus is250. For the past five months i have had alot go on in my life with my family and just wanted to trade in my car for a more reliable vehicle. I initially was looking to get a 2004 tacoma and the only vehicle that would prevent me from getting that would be a white isf. Lo and behold after two months of waiting a white isf popped up for sale in hawaii !! I new i was going to take a loss by just trading in car so i took off a few of the mods that i had on the car before trading it in. I also traded it in just cause i had alot going on in my life and I figured if i traded it in I wouldnt have to worry about trying to sell it , so yeah kinda took a sizeable loss on money back on the car.
OBJECTIVE:
Well below is the objective i have for my isf ( still have to think of a name for her, maybe you guys can help haha and not plain jane)
I am (for now) not planning on doing anything crazy to this car, as I just want functionality and the occasional spirited driving.
Its just junk that oahu doesnt have a track that i can use her on. For now this is a car i commute to work in (about 30 miles a day).
I will not be bagging my isf, nor adding any diffuser or body kit to her i kind of want to keep the body stock.
But i do plan on eventually increases horsepower slowly but surely

interior lighting
well i know how much threads are out there for the 2is regarding swapping the interior lights to led, but i figure i'd just post pics of it. i didnt do the vanity lights cause i use them... (i know i should just change it out to match, maybe i will in the future)
well first pic just shows the comparison of led vs oem. makes me want to make a custom fitted dome light instead of just three bulbs
second pic shows the 2 screws needed to be removed
third pic shows the dome console pried down to access the lights
fourth pic shows rear seat dome cover removed
fifth pic shows courtesy light on door removed
sixth pic shows removal of plastic cover for courtesy light
seventh pic shows trunk light with plastic cover removed

i dont know why some images get flipped when i upload them....
here is exterior hid. Initially i had 6k for the headlights but it didnt really match with the led strip so i just bumped it up to 8k.
still doesnt match but atleast its way off in color when both the drl and headlights are on
the hid 8k fogs is waaaaaay different compared to the headlights, so i am going to swap it to 3k fogs.

Figs engineering stuff
well i initially got suspension parts for my isx50
which include:
-figs rear supersport mega arms - custom powdercoated: tangerine twist
-figs toe arms- custom powdercoated: tangerine twist
-figs front lower control arm bushing 90 rating
huuuh just gotta find time to install them as its been sitting in my house for months. lol probly by the time i do install it figs will have an updated version.
luckily the supersport mega arms is compatible with the isf, glad figs convinced me to get the supersport arms vs the economy arms for my old ride
im just curious if anyone knows the difference between the supersport and the race version for the figs mega arms. i know the main difference is the weight savings from the holes punched out. i think it was 0.35 lbs but is there anyother benefit. My isf wont be tracked, cause simply on oahu we dont have a track. but i do plan on eventually getting an aftermarket exhaust, and headers. should the supersport mega arms be fine?? i might just email mike from figs about this lol

In my case the i might not really need the figs toe arms for the isf as im probly not gonna lower it any time soon. but i think if your 2is is 2" lower than stock height it the figs toe arms can get the toe back into acceptable toe spec range. i initially got it for my is250 that was slammed and i just wanted to minimize rear tire wear
