Building the best GS300s! I have three!
So i have had a 99 GS300 for over a year now, bought it in Florida and shipped it up to Minnesota. I have enjoyed it and its been a reliable daily driver for awhile. I started getting into finally making modifications and minor upgrades here and there. I started looking around on clublexus and fell in love with the black cherry color. So i recently picked up a 2002 GS300 from Chicago and drove it back. The exterior paint was in really nice shape with only some minor door dings and scuffs. The interior however was a very worn Tan, and also was smoked it. Its gross to say the least.... So a few days of having the car back in Minnesota i bought another 99 GS300 that was black on black with 250k. I plane to do a full interior swap for the black cherry so it has a good full black leather interior. Below are a few photos. I plan to do some write ups for doing the interior swap. If anyone is interested in some information about the process Ill post it here or another thread to help them in their quest of upgrading the interior of their GS.

Haha funny I bought a black on black 00 GS300 to do the same thing . But after I did the interior swap decided I would keep the car as a daily.
So your plans is to keep the 02 and modify that one? whats your plans with the black (3rd) one just use it for parts

Well I have three of them. So right now the 99 is my daily, but will eventually be my toy. The 02 is the project that I will turn into a daily once I get the interior swap done, sound deadened upgrades, sound system, etc. the 98 is the parts car that I'll steal everything I want off of it for the 02 and then that one back into a whole car with whatever parts I pulled from the other cars and sell it.

Just got my G35 rims back from being powder coated in Lexus Nebula Gray Pearl, I have Sage RCA 30mm on front and rear but i think i need to snag some NF210 Springs to get it just a little cleaner on the wheel gap.

Nice, I am excited to see another fellow Minnesotan... I agree with Kyle Harty go Coils for sure, you will get the springs and want to tweak things more. Its better to just go for it, then you can tweak it instead of just getting one height. Cant wait to see more.

I dont really need a massive drop, im not looking to be slammed to the ground, just clean up the gap. I live in minnesota and the roads suck here so im trying to stay as close to stock ride quality as possible.
I have had plenty of cars with coilovers, but im looking for a simple setup, and minnesota salt isnt kind to coilovers.
I dont really need to tweak it at all, coilovers are nice, but for what i am trying to acheive they are not the answer for me. I will be gettting either KYB GR2 Struts or Bilsteins with the NF210 springs, and it will be the low i want and the comfort I want. Ill post pics when I do it so you guys can all see.
