I think I want to do some general maintenance prior to the spring, I am thinking alternator, timing belt, extended lugs (for front), rotors/pads, and just little things here and there. While still looking for an aftermarket rear bumper and putting all the stuff I have in the garage on, ugggh...

still got the new (to me) diff on the way, getting it shipped thru freight.
got the old one out, was very curious what it looked like inside
i guess i can thank previous owners for never changing the gear oil for 255k miles.
I changed it around then and it already had some metal shavings on the drain plug then.
after 10k miles after putting OEM Toyota Synthetic 75w - 140, it is totally screwed.

got the new diff in awhile ago.....was quite the job, luckily I had a buddy of mine helping me out. Those diffs aren't exactly light lol
also, just switched out the PS fluid, which was actually PS fluid and not ATF. I switched it to valvoline synthetic atf. The old fluid that came out looked pretty nasty and dark brown. Forgot to take a pic of the fluid, but it's worth looking into!

the soundsystem in my LS has definitely never been touched, and is way past its prime, so I've been looking into it. Replaced both front speakers with aftermarket speakers, which required a little modifying to fit properly.
these aftermarket speakers also come with tweeters, so now i have 2 tweeters on both sides, as i kept the factory ones in there too lol.
