Eric's GS300 Storm-trooper Build

Thanks!
It sounds awesome, not overpowering. I tweaked the amps built in crossover to around 45hz so it is not overly loud but yet you can still really feel the super lows. Well as much as your going to feel anyway with a 10". It's nothing like my old Cerwin Vega Stroker 15"s but it does the job.
Ordered some door speakers yesterday too:
Infinity Kappa 52.11i 2ways for the rear doors
Infinity Kappa 60.11cs components for the front doors
I plan on using the wealth of knowledge gained through other threads in this forum to build my own 1/4 inserts out of MDF, FatMat the doors, and have it sounding acoustically better than a new car!
Also, the car is going in for new 20% tint on all but the windshield and the wheels and tires are being mounted and balanced! Next step to roll the fenders and install the suspension!

Wheels On and Windows Tinted 20%
Well I had the wheels and tires mounted and the windows re-tinted to 20% this past Saturday and it only took 2 days for me to become unstable with the wheels just sitting in my garage.
Over the weekend I caught some sort of 24hr flu or something but even amist the bouts of nausea I was able to toss the wheels on and man what a difference.
Granted I wasn't up to installing the coilovers yet but those will come this weekend I think.

For now I'll just wait till I find a pearl white deck lid with no spoiler then swap it out. The spoiler is only uses double sided tape so transferring it would not be a huge issue.
I love the look, not quite a huge whale tail but just enough to not look stock!

Well last weeks little bout with the flu caught up with me this past weekend full blown and hit like a freight train! Even through that I still managed to install the suspension and roll and pull the fenders and quarters.... Although you can totally tell which one I started with cough .. right front... cough. Anyhow nothing a good body shop can't handle or maybe some FRP fenders..
I'll post the pictures when I get home from work tonight. The commute today was the first real test on ride height to make sure nothing rubbed ... too bad. So far only rubbed once and that was taking an off ramp at 70mph....
This weekend I plan on putting the new speakers in with 1/4 MDF home made brackets. Now to just find the 1/4 MDF. 1/4 standard particle board is easy to find but MDF is a little tricky.
