Default LS460 Rough Idle

My 2014 LS460 has a rough idle when in Drive (foot on the brake) when A/C and seat heaters are off; the RPM is 450. When I turn on either/and the A/cCand seat heaters, the RPM goes to 750 and the rough idle goes away. Lexus dealer has not been able to fix the issue. All the loaner Lexus cars I have driven (IS, GS, NX) keep a steady 750 RPM when in drive and foot on the brake regardless of whether the A/C and/or seat heaters are on or off. Has anyone experinced this issue? Is there a fix besides leaving the A/C and/or seater on all the time?

Watching this thread. MIne does similar, wondering if anyone has any tips. MIne has 100k miles now- so I'm thinking of just tuning it up with new Coils and Plugs.

This threads almost 5 years old, but here’s a more recent thread that addresses the issue.

I had a similar issue with my LX LS and my Indy suggested to replace the throttle body. Once we did that, Voila! no issues.

Its been 2 years since we replaced throttle body and no issues ever since.

Ok, I just had this issue and now it is fixed. It is not what you expect. So, I would pull up to a stoplight and i could definitely feel a rough idle. I then also read all of the post that said turn off your A/C and your idle will drop and then run rough. Well mine did do that. So, I thought well it is just a known problem, keep the AC on auto. Well I was dealing with another issue of some knocking up front and I took my car back in to inspect this after I changed the lower control arms. Well when they did their inspection they found that my motor mounts were shot, both of them. One collapsed and one just bad. Well they replaced them and rough idle 100% gone. Again it was doing all of the stuff I read about online. My car know runs as smooth with the A/C on auto as it does with Auto off. The vibration was because of the motor mounts. My suggestion would be to definitely look into it. My care is a 2010 LS460 with 102,000 miles.

it sounds like fuel injection cleaner isn't the answer
but figured i would post drove my car 1500 miles since i got noticed slight hesitation off the line almost unnoticeable

emptied tank, put a can of Chevron Fuel System Cleaner in filled with costco premium
and the car feels smoother
i usually do this with all my cars every 10-15k and it just validated it does work if there is a slight injector clogged the chevron stuff works

Same here. Just got my motor and transmission mounts replaced and I only had 37k miles on my 13’ LS-L. Very disappointed they failed so early.

NOTE: All of the work was covered under powertrain warranty so make sure to get it taken Care of before the 7 yr 70k powertrain warranty is up.
