Dude I didn't even think of that on there. I thought it would be ok to be honest!! Thanks for the heads up. I have some noise cancelling feet for the compressor on the way, so I'll tackle it then. Thanks for that and thanks for the welcome back 👍

Well tonight I mounted the controller for the air ride. I decided to relocate the electronic throttle controller to a more practical, out of the way spot....
This will be getting tidied up in the morning and mounted properly. This meant taking the interior apart just to route the cables. As you can guess, I decided to mount the controller in the ashtray section so it's there when I need it, but out the way when I'm parked up....
Time to cut it up and use an old sheet of carbon I had as a base for the controller to sit on....
All done and ready to go in tomorrow....
Also the typical aired out shot after he first run around town with the bags set up and presets sorted....

I have a question and if anyone has the answers for it that would be a great help.
I'm looking at BMW gearboxes (price, availability and they can handle future power increases), and I know the GS430 has a gearing set up of 3.266. So my question is, while I'm about to find a BM box that suits the rear diff ratio of the 430, if I was to go manual, what would people suggest I do with the rear diff? Get an LSD in there and keep the original geering, or go for something totally different?
Thanks.

Love your car, you have done a great job on it.
I have a question about the controller for the air ride in the ashtray.
I love how it looks.
Do you still have it like that?
Have you found it is easy to use that way?
I have the same system but my controller isn't mounted anywhere.
I'd like to copy your design if you say that using it is still easy and convenient.
Thanks so much man!

Hey car looks outstanding man! Hadn't seen your build before now. Did you ever make changes to the transmission and diff? Was going to say, most people look for a OEM Mk4 Supra torsion diff with 3.769:1 ratio. (Auto TT diffs swap in). Way better gear ratio for the 400/430 and no slip. Pretty strong too from what I understand.

So whilst in lockdown I decided to do a few things. On the completed list are new ball joints, new inner and outer track rods, new reluctor rings to stop the ABS TCS issue, rear discs and pads, and overhaul on the airride install, new black leather interior, refurbished my rims and machine polish.
What I'm currently working on is the alacantara retrim of the pillars and headliner.
Next modifications are a retrofit on the headlights which I am currently collecting parts for.
A few pictures of the changes....
