You can either purchase LED bulbs, although you will lose the high-beam function,
Or, you can disable the DRL all together: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ml#post2242476

I think what you need is an LED 194, that's the one that comes on with the low-beams, just to illuminate the inner light buckets.
For the 9005, you can buy blue-coated halogens that are designed to look great at 50% power, they match like a 5000k HID look. I found some at a local shop made by the brand MTEC.
Also you can buy a full LED 9005 in a few different colours, they look great but have very poor output. If you never use your high beams though, I would do this.
IMO you can play around with the 9005 since it comes on by itself, the most important part is just making sure the 194 LED colour matches your low beam output, or else it will look really weird. I have these 19-LED ones in cool white and they look great and even put out some extra usable light on their own. They're not very blue looking at all, it looks factory.

And don't disable it! that would look really strange or burnt out. The car has 4 headlights, they should all come on at night!

- LED 9005 bulbs for DRL and NO high-beam function
- LED 9005 bulbs with NO DRL and Full functioning high-beam (you already tried this)
- NO DRL (disabled) with Full functioning high-beam function
- Aftermarket DRL lights with disabled factory DRL with Full functioning high-beam functions
