The only thing I see missing is the pictures... This thread is useless unless you have pictures of your car... Plain and simple... LOL

I havnt really done anything to update but interior is almost all in. Ive barely been working on it. Ive changed plans and now im going na-t, i just need motor and tranny mounts. I also need to buy main and rod bearings from toyota. Im going to get it running for now then slap on a turbo a little later on. My car still hasnt sold-__- so im slowiy buying parts here and there. If anyone has a shifter for r154 let me know!
Also mods if you could change the thread name to na-t instead of 1jz.
Ill post up some more pictures tonight
^haha so far i think ive gotten a good deal for everything ive bought for this car

I havnt updated this in a while. I put in a 2jzge with r154 just so i could drive it around for now. Its all good motor runs great also but theres only one problem. When you give it a little throttle to lets say 2000 to 3000 rpm and take your foot of the pedal the throttle stays open around 1800 rpm until i tap the gas a couple times and itll go back down. Anyone have any idea what it could be? I did do a auto to manual swap but i doubt that has anything to do with it.
Any help would be appreciated!
The car is done and drivable but thats the only thing holding me back!
New front control arms, bushings, and new coils is next on the list.
Also quick question for ppl who did a auto to r154 on a 92 sc300. I got a mk3 r154 front half and attached it to my stock auto rear half with the stock auto carrier bearing and it was so long i couldnt even get it on. But my stock one worked perfectly but is a little too short but it drives normal. Would you say itll give me problems? Its only temporary till i get a solid one when i buy the swap. Ill post some pictures tonight and ill try to get a video of the throttle problem. Thanks for any and all suggestions! Ive been waiting a lonnnnggg time to drive this thing and im sure a lot of you know what it feels llike!!!

After reading all of this, curious what's your budget for the build? It's correct, you're now going NA-T? Several members here with some pretty solid NA-T builds. AliSC3, lexforlife, and if you're really trying to push the limit...check out drifterx build. He's put in some serious work? Either way, GL with your build and keep us posted?
