Default SC300 GTE R154 S366 4" Exhaust

Well finally had some time to work on the car and get it pretty damn near done. For anyone that knows me the car has been down and the rebuild has been long. I have 4 kids in sports year round, coach atleast 2 teams a season, and just bought a new house that I am updating so time on the car is very slim. However, tired of her down and told the wife either I carve out time to finish it or I am buying a LS460 to drive...so out to the garage I went

Here is the first startup yesterday - hear that turbo....

Here is after fixing the 4000rpm idle (someone touched the srew on the throttle body That is my 3rd grader diagnosing the fuel issue.

I will get more pictures loaded today. I am waiting for my 3.5" driveshaft from Driftmotion to come in and then I will align the car and then have to tune it.

Items to close on:
2 oil leaks - have to find out where they are coming from
Tune
Alignment

I have to get her running right and on the road and then Part III will be exterior (headlights, badges, wheels, brakes) with Part IV being interior .

Nice build thread. It seems like the s366 is a very popular turbo. Do you have any engine pics?

Gotta love the sound of a BW. Nice build, really like where it's going.

I can relate with the busy schedule. I'm sure a majority if not all could too!

On the first video what was that spark that came out the exhaust during start up? Might wanna check to see if anything is damaged.

no that was Styrofoam from the packaging on the muffler. That was the first start with the new exhaust on.

Thanks all I will get some picks this weekend of the engine. The driveshaft will be in on Thursday and I might put it in after football practice Thursday night depending how I feel. the plan is this weekend to put the rubber to the road and see how she feels. Need to figure out how to reduce the fuel that is dumping in right now.

Ohh that's good I just saw some amber flying out the back thought it could be something. Good luck with the build. Can't wait to see video of it driving.

Wow, sounds like it has super nasty cams lol. Is that just way rich loading up and spluttering? Either way, sounds sick lol
