Default 1.5jz obd2 in the making

so i have finally found a good deal on a 1jz head and intake mani so i snaged it up already have my ge bottom end just needs to be looked over and freshend up. This is my plan sence my car is obd 2 and here in NH we need to go through obd checks to get a sticker i am going to us a usdm gte ecu to keep my obd2 while using my ge harness and just making new connectors for what i need and moving pins at the ecu, so i have my 1jz head and i'm going to freshen up the ge bottom end keeping the stock 10:1 pistons and using a stock gte head gasket not sure on the 1 or 2jz one yet still figureing that out, so i'm looking at getting the compression around 9.3-9.5:1 with the stock twins for now till i have more cash to go single, also i found that usdm 2jz cams in a 1jz head make a good amount more power so thats an other thing i'm going to be doing, this is gonna take me some time to get it all going, moving next week into a house with a garage again so i can get working on this project more. I will try and update this as i go and i will get some pics of everything up once i'm done moving, if people have done the 1.5jz swap feel free to chime in on what is good/bad about it thanks in advance
