It sure has..
On a side note, Does anyone know what the settings should be for the IGN-1a (aem high output/ proefi) coils for the AEM v2? I will be getting those finished up this weekend and need to know what the settings should be for those coils. The V2 is currently setup for the Lq9 coils.
Any help would be great thanks!

Well trans has to come out AGAIN I really did a number on the trans testing the trans brake more then I should have causing it to over heat. 3rd gear started to whine and make some funny noising over the weekend and leaks fluid out of the vent tube during a WOT pull. Expensive rookie mistake on my part. On the other hand, coils have been setup and are working great. No hesitation or break up after 5000 through 7200rpm at 30psi.
Trans will being going back to Jakes Performance in Texas for an overlook or rebuild if needed.
And yep, didn't make it to that bbq/car festivities due to trans.

They are the 105m. Unless PRoefi is making these coils with Mercury Marine, I don't see how they are getting 210millijoules out of them? Mercury Marine Pantera ign-1a. . I've searched around and there isn't any test results showing the two differences. I'm not saying Proefi is BSing on their H.O. coils but I just don't see it. Lots of 2000+hp cars are running the IGN-1a coils with great results which is why I chose these. I went with AEM because they ended up being cheaper from a freind that is a dealer for AEM. Just my thoughts.

I just started back at post 1 and read all the way through this morning... WOW! Richard, you sir do amazing work and watching this come together has been a lot of fun to read. After long debate I decided to go NA-T as well and have slowly started putting parts together to make it happen. Watching what has happened to your car over two years gives me hope that my car too will eventually be where I want it to be. Just have to be patient. Great work my friend! my hat's off to you.

Been MIA for a bit due to my wife having our first child . But Ive managed to get a lot done being on family leave for six weeks.
-new engine/Trans coolers installed
-Evo Brembo rear calipers installed
- Fixed all the annoying small oil leaks from fittings and what not
-Th400 went back to Jakes Performance for a rebuild along with the converter. Evertyhing was done under warranty.
Next up I am finishing up the interior with some Sparco seats, brackets and sliders which are on order with RaceQuip 5 point Harness from Real Street.
One trans and one Engine cooler. I welded -6 fittings on one of the coolers for the trans. The second trans cooler is in the passenger fender well.

Brand new Reman Evo 8 rear Brembo Calipers painted black with NA StopTech rotors bolted up so I can get my 15" Weld Wheels I got from Gerb.. Also replaced the brake lines to the Goodridge lines.
Front LS400 calipers are polished which I also painted gloss black to match the rears.
While I was at it I replaced the pads with some Carbotech Pads
And the trans back from Jakes. Car is back on the road and running great. Now I just need to make it to the track before something else goes wrong lol
