started laying out the fuel system ..some change of plans. Instead of installing the fuel log and big pump on the righ rear end of the trunk, I have decided to install them above the fuel tank. In that way , my trunk will still look clean and I won't see any fuel lines when you open the trunk.

I am planning to bolt the pump and fuel log into the cross metal bar above the fuel tank there in the trunk .. though I will install them with a padding against the cross bar so when the pump is on , it wont be vibrating agains that wall.

just to help the newbies in doing the braided lines .. you first cut the line and insert one part of the fitting

then spread out the braided cover

then insert the brass ring

and now the end part

now need to work on the -8an return line from the trunk bulkhead to the fuel tank . I am trying to decide wether to use that teflon line coming out of the fuel log that has summit racing fittings or make another one using the right teflon fittings... I used that line in my Supra before , it was good and no leaks.. maybe for now will try to use it and see how it holds..

Well .. got to go back to the garage .. dinner is over and continue working on those teflon lines going to the bulkheads on the trunk ... sh&t , my fingers are aching due to the so many ****** from those braided lines...

Decided to put the tank in the trunk so I can better see what kind of bracket I need to do for the fuel pump and the fuel log ...

I guess I would need to take out the two side speakers . Afterall I would install a customized sound system for this car .

This is how it will look more or less in the trunck. With this layout , I can put back all my trunk mattings , sidings and carpet and my trunk will still look clean without seeing any of those plumbing ...

These will be the return and feed line on the bulkheads going out of the trunk .. filter after the fuel log ...

Well , I guess my Red Dragon can spew fire as much as she wants with all the BOOZE it will be getting from the fuel system. a lot of alcohol (E85) .. I believe my fuel system is capable of supporting 2500+rwhp on race gas and 1750+rwhp on E85 ... much more if I decide to install the Weldon Pump from Darin's car which I got for a very good deal last night on Supraforums.

Damn, not even my stroker Supra got this much . Both my supra only have the Weldon 2345a pumps.

Is it OVERKILL ?

As our friends around here say .. there is no over kill on fuel system. Though I believe I will only turn on pumps based on need (e.g. boost based , kill mode ) so I don't uselessly overheat the fuel . On cruise mode , just one Denso pump , then at around 15 psi .. two Denso pumps and three Denso pumps above 25 psi . The big pump will turn on based on fuel pressure on each TT denso line ... a fuel pressure sensor will be installed on each TT denso line and on the main line... If one goes low meaning the pump goes dead, the big pump should turn on. At the same time , I will wire it in such a way that with a flip of a switch , it will turn on also for kill mode just like that of the weldons with the controllers .. Damn I hope I find the right ECU that can take care of such situation..

Before I left this morning.. I figured I might as well make the -10an feed line from under the trunk to the engine bay
